The museum provides a good framework for seminars, meetings, courses, conferences, parties and groups of all kinds. An optional program can be tailored to each group and can include visits to the exhibitions and dining.

The auditorium

Our modern and airy auditorium has 112 seats, and is equipped with modern audiovisual aids. Please note that all use of our meeting room equipment is included in the conference price.

Meeting room 1

Suitable for board meetings and staff meetings for small groups of up to 15 people.


Coffee breaks are served in Cafe Gidsken or in the auditorium / meeting room 1. Lunch or dinner is also served in the cafe unless otherwise agreed.


Special events e.g. lunch or dinner for small groups can be arranged in the Rotunda or in our control tower from the old airport in Bodø, with a fantastic view of the Bodø peninsula and the surrounding mountains. The tower is also suitable for coffee breaks, a welcome drink or other smaller event.


You can combine academic content with an educational and exciting tour of the museum. We recommend all our course and conference organizers to include a guided tour of the exhibitions, or to try a hefty flight in one of our simulators during the conference.

Time consumption, theme and dissemination method are adapted to wishes and interests.

Our conference package includes:

free admission to the museum’s exhibitions during the museum’s opening hours

NB! When renting the auditorium, the group must be a minimum of 20 people.
