The museum’s own café is named after one of our first Norwegian female aviation pioneers, Gidsken Jakobsen.

After a walk in the museum’s exhibits, it can be good to sit down and relax with a bite to eat in cozy surroundings. The café serves coffee, cakes, sandwiches and snacks.

Special events

Cafe Gidsken also welcomes larger parties and groups for lunch and dinner, e.g. in connection with
courses & conference events at the museum. You can also hold the confirmation dinner or Christmas table here. The food can also be served in parts of the exhibition or in our control tower from the old air tower in Bodø. Here there is a fantastic view of the Bodø peninsula and the surrounding mountains. The tower is also suitable for coffee breaks or a welcome drink.
