The museum offers students and teachers schemes that can be used as an integral part of the teaching. The programs are based on the curricula and in the permanent exhibitions and are teaching booklets and tailor-made guided tours. We welcome input and tips on several topics!
When we have temporary exhibitions, arrangements are made for them, as far as we see it can be used by the schools. Information about this is sent to the schools in the Salten region.
Preparation booklet 1 – 4
A Preparation Booklet has been prepared for the primary school level. It can be used before or after a visit to the museum. Pictures that can be hung up are included with the booklet, which otherwise contains information about some of what the students can see in the exhibitions. We see that children who are prepared before they come to the museum, have great pleasure in recognizing what they have talked about in the classroom, at the same time as they actually know a little about what they see. They feel competent, which they are!
The dream of flying
For the intermediate and junior levels, there is a teaching booklet, The Dream of Flying. The booklet is available at all Bodø schools in the folder Culture and Environment that you have. We want all classes going to the museum to contact us in advance. This is to avoid collisions.
